Ian Doolette - Director
Ian is responsible for the identification, feasibility and procurement of suitable sites for the development of student accommodation, followed by the marketing and sale of completed projects through the fully owned subsidiary of Student Living, L3 Realty Pty Ltd.
Ian commenced his real estate career in 1970 with Southern Farmers Co-Operative Limited. He has been involved in all facets of Real Estate in his 39 year career and has conducted some of the largest transactions of commercial and industrial property in South Australia.
Ian has undertaken extensive consultancy assignments for a wide range of government, corporate and private clients and was the Managing Director of CB Richards Ellis for many years.
Ian has a Graduate Diploma in Property Development, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Property Resource Management, and is a registered Land Agent and a Certified Practising Valuer.
Peter Gibson Snr - Director
Peter is responsible for the long term development and growth of the business of Student Living Australia and maintaining strong relationships with the business and education sectors, institutions and developers. Peter has wide experience in the Development and Construction industries and is a Licensed Builder.
Since 1976 Peter has successfully worked in various roles including project design, financial feasibilty studies, management and business development. Since 1997 he has provided development management services to private clients including conducting due diligence and reviews, design concept management, financial feasibilities and managing authorities approvals.
Peter has extensive experience in business marketing and management and has been involved in accommodation management, including Hotels and Motels, for over 15 years.
Peter is a registered Land Agent, has a Diploma in Business, a certificate in Property Management, is a Certified Practising Member (CPM) of the Real Estate Institute of South Australia and has sat on a number of University Student Accommodation Reference Committees.
Peter Pedler - Director
Peter is a partner in the highly respected South Australian law firm, Duncan Basheer Hannon, and is responsible for the provision of legal services and consultation for Student Living Australia including commercial agreements, compliance issues, governance and commercial advice.
Peter was admitted to practise in 1981 and has extensive commercial law experience. A Director of several private companies and Chairman of the Board of Directors of a publicly listed company, his key areas of expertise range from business and property transactions to providing advice on commercial agreements, joint ventures and commercial leasing.
Peter is a specialist in major acquisitions and headed up the South Australian team for one of the bidders involved in the purchase of South Australian electricity assets.
